Nestled in a landmark six-story Renaissance Revival building in New York’s trendy NoHo neighborhood, the loft apartment of Anna Beeber, principal designer of Manhattan interiors firm Champalimaud, hints at its past life as a printing press in the 1890s: The word bindery is crudely written on the freight elevator that enters the space, and holes in the floor are visible where machines once stood.
