our stories
Anthony McGinn
Anthony draws inspiration from his upbringing in Ireland, where he was fascinated by the traditional construction methods of ringforts, round towers and castles.
His interest in architecture began during his childhood, where he spent countless hours building Legos, gifted to him by an au pair whose father worked for the famed toy company.
In his architectural work, Anthony tries to use as many natural materials as possible, striving to marry his projects seamlessly with the environment. When beginning a new project, Anthony relies on instinct, working to imagine what feels right for the particular site, and relying on hand sketches before ever touching the computer.
The design development stage is what Anthony enjoys the most, where he can refine his ideas and focus on the small details.
In his free time, Anthony begs his plants to grow, cooks as much as he can and watches old movies with his wife.
