East Village Apartment

A 1,650-square-foot gut renovation in Manhattan’s East Village, combines two neighboring apartments into a unified home for a young family of four. Set within a restrained Art Deco building, the design balances historic character with the clarity of modern living.

Organized around a formal entry and an open Great Room, the apartment has two bedroom suites and a flexible glass-enclosed den. Limewashed walls, Calacatta Panozzo marble, brass details, and finely crafted millwork to create a warm, cohesive palette. The result is a quiet interpretation of Deco — distilled and designed to endure.
